After falling behind 15-7 after the first period the Heat were able to pull within 4 at half time, 24-20 and then played outstanding defense the entire 2nd half limiting Flatbush to only 16 points and were able to open up an 11 point lead early in the fourth period and led by at least 8 the rest of the way. The Heat had 8 players score led by Jr. Ricky Sutton's 17 and by the superb defense of David Nass who with 4 fouls, did a very commendable job on Flatbush's big man Jack Rossow in the 4th Qtr.
