The defending champion MDY Warriors hosted DRS in the semifinals. DRS came out strong with Sicklick hitting 4 clutch 3 pointers and at the half they led 26-20.
The third quarter was all MDY, led by captain Michael Natkin who scored a game high 19 points to go along with his 7 assists, 4 steals and 8 rebounds. MDY led 40-34 going into the fourth quarter. DRS’ Kahn turned it on and scored 16 points, but the MDY’s ferocious defense and unselfish teamwork won the day. Albert Nsiri had 12 points along with his 9 steals and 3 assists.
Teddy Cohen had 9 assists 4 steals and 6 rebounds.
